Job Opportunity

A senior accounting professional is sought to take on a leadership role, overseeing their practice with the support of a structured succession plan.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality tax, compliance, and advisory services to individuals, small-to-medium enterprises, and family groups. This will involve preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, business activity statements, and financial statements across various entity types.

Additional duties include building and managing long-standing client relationships focused on trust and personalised service. The successful candidate will also provide strategic advice on tax planning and business structuring, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards.

The chosen individual will be responsible for implementing improvements in internal systems, processes, and operational efficiency. They will also support succession planning and contribute to a smooth ownership transition.

  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Accounting or finance degree.
  • At least 10 years' experience in public practice.
  • Registered Tax Agent, or eligibility and willingness to obtain registration.
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain both.
  • Strong client relationship management and advisory experience.
  • Leadership capability and experience mentoring junior staff.
