Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and assisting with various accounting tasks.

You will work closely with our accounting team and clients, supporting day-to-day financial operations.

  • Perform general administrative duties related to accounting operations
  • Assist with preparation of Business Activity Statements, tax returns, and financial statements
  • Maintain accurate records and client databases
  • Liaise with clients and government bodies
  • Support the team with invoicing, reconciliations, and data entry
  • Manage appointment scheduling and communication channels

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-year experience in an accounting or administrative role is required
  • A relevant accounting background (qualification or studies in accounting/bookkeeping) is essential
  • Strong organisational and communication skills are necessary for this position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently is vital
