About the Role

COS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floor Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales performance, and leading a team of sales assistants to achieve excellent standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Offer customers a high level of service, through styling advice, product knowledge, and store experience.
  • Sales Performance: Analyze selling information and work with the store manager to maximize sales performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of sales assistants to achieve excellent standards of service.
  • Recruitment and Training: Support recruitment and ensure induction and training to new starters is carried out.
  • Talent Development: Assist the store manager to identify future talents and put together development plans to support their progression.
  • Store Operations: Oversee store operations and ensure a smooth running of the store.
  • Brand Ambassador: Be a COS brand ambassador and provide the best experience for our customers.
  • Store Manager Support: Step into the role of Store Manager in their absence.

Requirements

  • Management Experience: Minimum 1 year management experience in a similar role with proven results in driving commercial KPIs and team development.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate, follow up, and provide straightforward feedback with the goal to coach and develop your team.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks based on the needs of our fast-paced business.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-focused with a genuine interest in others.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and positive with a willingness to learn about and sell our products.
  • Commercial Abilities: Excellent commercial abilities and interest in fashion and retail.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and evenings when required.
