Job Summary:

The Catholic Education Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial viability of our schools and providing resources, buildings, and HR support to effectively deliver our educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to our schools
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure the long-term sustainability of our schools
  • Manage and oversee the administration of our schools' financial systems, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to financial management
  • Provide HR support to our schools, including recruitment, training, and employee relations
  • Manage and maintain our schools' properties and equipment, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of our schools' resources

Requirements:

  • Accounting qualifications and experience in financial management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with our schools and stakeholders
  • Experience in HR management, including recruitment, training, and employee relations
  • Ability to develop and implement financial plans and budgets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions
  • Experience in managing and maintaining properties and equipment
