Key Role: Concrete Operations Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team at our Warrnambool Concrete Plant.

About the Job:

This is an exceptional opportunity for career growth and development within the construction industry. The selected candidate will oversee the operation of a concrete batch plant, ensuring all products adhere to strict quality requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operation of a concrete batch plant, including scheduling maintenance tasks as required.
  • Operate a front-end loader (FEL) to facilitate smooth production processes.
  • Regularly interact with customers, taking orders & scheduling deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other local plants to deliver positive outcomes, working towards shared goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, showing leadership potential in high-pressure situations.
  • Monitor plant and equipment performance, conducting routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Manage day-to-day tasks, including manual handling and delivery of concrete products to customers.
Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills, coupled with a strong team mentality and ability to work independently.
  • A flexible roster that includes weekend work and overtime, with opportunities for career advancement.
  • Hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence, with the ability to obtain a Construction Card / White Card.
  • Demonstrate physical fitness to perform all tasks associated with the position, while adhering to company safety protocols.
