Concrete Batch Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused individual to oversee the operation of a concrete batch plant.
- Operate a front-end loader (FEL) with precision and efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, taking orders and scheduling deliveries in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team to achieve positive outcomes for the organization and customers.
This role requires:
- Demonstrating leadership potential and implementing safety protocols.
- Maintaining equipment, scheduling regular maintenance, and conducting repairs as needed.
- Managing production tasks, including manual handling, to ensure high-quality products.
- Ensuring all delivered concrete meets strict quality standards.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with a strong team mentality and ability to work independently. They should be flexible with their roster, including Saturday work and overtime. A Heavy Rigid (HR) licence is required, and a willingness to obtain a Construction Card/White Card is necessary. The successful applicant will also support our Zero Harm safety policy and be able to physically perform all tasks associated with the position.
What We Offer- A competitive hourly rate, including penalties and superannuation.
- A Monday-to-Friday schedule, generally 6:00/7:00am - 3:30/4:00pm.
- Rostered half-day Saturdays, working on average 3 times per month.
- A comprehensive training program on how to operate the agitator and slump concrete.
- An opportunity to obtain an HR licence for the right candidate.
- A FEL ticket (if not already achieved).
