Job Title: Concreter/Driver

Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to fill a key role in our operations as a Concreter/Driver.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a concrete batch plant, overseeing its daily activities
  • Drive a front-end loader (FEL), ensuring efficient operation and maintenance
  • Interact with customers, take orders, and schedule deliveries in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with other local plants to deliver exceptional outcomes for the business and customers alike
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and show leadership potential
  • Ensure all products meet strict quality standards
  • Monitor plant and equipment, scheduling regular maintenance as required
  • Manage maintenance and production tasks, including manual handling duties
  • Deliver high-quality concrete to customers on time
Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills with a team-oriented mindset and ability to work independently
  • A flexible roster that includes Saturday work and overtime shifts
  • Heavy Rigid (HR) licence for safe and responsible vehicle operation
  • Construction Card / White Card for compliance with industry regulations
  • The ability to operate with and support a Zero Harm safety policy
  • Physical ability to perform all tasks associated with the position
What We Offer:
  • $31.77/hour, plus penalties, plus superannuation benefits
  • Standard Monday – Friday working hours, generally 6:00/7:00am – 3:30/4:00pm
  • Rostered half-day Saturdays, averaging 3 hours/month
  • An extensive 10-day training program for operating the agitator and slump concrete
  • Opportunity to obtain HR licence for eligible candidates
