As a corporate account leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our growth strategy. Working directly with strategic clients, you will create bespoke underwriting solutions that make a tangible difference.

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced insurance professional who excels at managing complex client relationships across multiple states. The successful candidate will thrive at coordinating with diverse stakeholders to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions for corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire policy lifecycle - Take charge of corporate accounts from initial underwriting through to renewals and adjustments
  • Develop integrated client solutions - Leverage our Risk Solutions function to provide comprehensive protection strategies addressing unique client challenges
  • Foster influential relationships - Work closely with Regional Managers, Client & Broker Engagement teams, and Risk Solution specialists to develop holistic approaches
  • Drive strategic growth - Develop and execute targeted business development plans to identify and convert new corporate opportunities while maximising renewal retention
  • Enhance underwriting quality - Collaborate with our Product & Underwriting team to ensure excellence in underwriting referrals and approvals
  • Create lasting impact - Support organisations contributing to community wellbeing through our specialist sectors

Requirements:

  • Established relationships in the broker market, particularly in core sectors
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across different organisation levels, teams, and functions
  • Skilled at identifying promising prospects and converting them through technical expertise and relationship skills
  • Skilled at coordinating risk surveys and implementing risk requirements
  • Comfortable balancing client needs with strong underwriting principles
  • Passion for the care, education, and faith sectors
  • Proven track record of profitable growth in underwriting or corporate broking
