About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill a key leadership position within our High Growth & Emerging Corporate team. This is a unique role that offers exposure across complex and sophisticated customer groups, providing a challenging and rewarding experience for the ideal candidate.

The successful candidate will bring their expertise in cash flow analysis and lending to provide innovative funding solutions, insights, and services to help customers build successful and sustainable businesses.

Working closely with trading business customers, you will simplify complex transactions and execute deals with precision and finesse.

You will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio and originating new customers, collaborating with wider teams to develop strong client relationships and insights, and first-line credit and risk accountability within the department.

You will also support the delivery of local area performance as measured through NPS, financial metrics, and employee engagement.

Additionally, you will work with the Head of HGEC and the broader HGEC team to enhance NAB's reputation as a leading bank.

The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of financial markets, deposit, and debt products, and how these can be structured and applied within Corporate Banking.

They will also have experience in corporate finance and relationship management, preferably in a major financial institution or investment bank.

A broad understanding of Corporate Banking products and services, as well as experience with technology-focused businesses, is desirable.
