About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Safety Service Technician to join our team at BCMC Landlord Reassurance Pty. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting safety inspections at residential rental properties in accordance with government legislation in NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety inspections at residential rental properties, including smoke alarm testing, water efficiency checks, blind compliance, air conditioning cleaning, and minimal switchboard safety checks.
  • Travel to various locations in Newcastle and surrounding areas to complete inspections.
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with property owners and managers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to navigate basic technology, including an iPhone.
  • Basic understanding of using tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
