Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician/Diesel Fitter to operate within the service area, focusing on mechanical maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address significant mechanical failures and escalations.
  • Perform routine maintenance, major repairs, and component replacements both in the workshop and on-site.
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics on diesel engines.
  • Implement field service campaigns as necessary.
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to quality standards and budget constraints.
  • Occasional overnight service assignments may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Diesel Fitter.
  • Certified Mechanic with a valid Australian mechanic's license.
  • Possession of an Australian Driver's License.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • MR Truck License is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
