About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Komatsu Forklift Australia. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for our customers' Komatsu forklifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Komatsu forklifts to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with forklifts
  • Conduct thorough inspections of forklifts to identify potential problems and recommend preventative maintenance
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualifications (Light or Heavy Automotive Mechanic or Auto Electrician)
  • Experience with servicing and diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components is required. Experience as a Forklift Technician or exposure to Forklifts is highly regarded
  • A minimum of C class Licence
  • Forklift licence is required
  • Ability to follow required job scope & critical path
  • Safety focused mindset is paramount
  • Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • A proven high level of customer service
