About the Role
Pirtek Newcastle is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Service Technician to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service and repair of plant and machinery to customers in the Newcastle and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers
- Travel to sites to replace hoses in a breakdown situation or complete new installation work on a variety of machinery
- Operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
- Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and problem-solve
- Adhere to OHS and Safe Work Practices
Requirements
- Trade / field services experience in Fitting / Mechanical Background and / or Hydraulics
- Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
- Good numeracy, verbal and written skills
- Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
- Desire to be a team player
- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and problem-solve
- An understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices
- A current Manual Driver's Licence (and willing to obtain an LR Licence)
- Flexibility with working hours as after-hours availability is a pre-requisite
