Job Description

As an educator at Aspect Schools, you will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students on the autism spectrum. Our mission is to empower these individuals to reach their full potential by providing evidence-based education approaches that cater to their unique needs.

Working closely with our dedicated team of professionals, including teacher aides, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and school psychologists, you will develop and deliver high-quality learning programs that foster academic growth, social development, and emotional well-being.

Our approach is centered around creating a tailored learning environment that meets the individual needs of each student. With small class sizes and a strong focus on data-driven instruction, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.

About the School

Aspect Western Sydney School provides educational services to approximately 145 students from Kindergarten to year 12. Our main site is located at Wetherill Park, with satellite classes across the Western and South Western regions of Sydney.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NESA registration to teach in NSW, both Primary and High School Teachers
  • Special Education qualifications are preferred
  • Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or with other intellectual disabilities (desirable)
  • NSW Working with Children Check clearance for paid employment
