The ideal candidate will have experience working with students on the autism spectrum or other intellectual disabilities. You will also be required to have effective communication skills, a Certificate III in Education Support or relevant tertiary qualification, and a current First Aid Certificate. Depending on the location, a Light Rigid (LR) driver's licence may also be essential.

Key Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement Individual Learning Plans to support students' educational and wellbeing goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver quality learning programs that meet the needs of students on the autism spectrum.
  • Provide support and guidance to students in small class sizes, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills Required

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or other intellectual disabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Light Rigid (LR) driver's licence (depending on location).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Education Support or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • NSW Working with Children Check.
