Job Title: Reconciliation, Diversity Officer

A newly created role for an ambitious professional to drive reconciliation, diversity and inclusion initiatives in a fast-paced business.

As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the HR Manager and be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies that foster reconciliation, diversity and inclusion
  • Providing advice and support on matters related to cultural awareness, anti-discrimination and harassment prevention
  • Organising training workshops and events to promote reconciliation, diversity and inclusion
  • Maintaining and evaluating the impact and effectiveness of our reconciliation, diversity and inclusion programs

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications in human resources or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the history, culture and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in developing and delivering reconciliation, diversity and inclusion programs in the blue-collar sector
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
