We are seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in empowering employers to create meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist. As a specialist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with employers to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop tailored solutions to support both employers and job seekers in achieving sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with employers to plan and develop workforce strategies that create future job opportunities and improve staff retention.
  • Partner with support practitioners to co-design solutions that help job seekers remain engaged in long-term employment.
  • Deliver training on workplace diversity and inclusion to promote inclusive hiring practices.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Lived experience or relevant experience supporting people with a disability.
  • Qualifications in Employment or Disability services highly regarded.
  • Exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the local labour market and employer needs.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
  • Clear and adaptable communication skills.
  • PASSION FOR INCLUSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND SUPPORTING PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY.
  • Cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
  • A high level of digital literacy.
  • A valid, unrestricted driver's licence.
