Diversity and Inclusion Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support and coordination services while demonstrating your commitment to workplace diversity, inclusion, and equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and accurate administrative support for all Employee Network Groups, including Gender, Multicultural, LGBTQI & Reconciliation.
  • Manage inbox inquiries related to Diversity and Inclusion, including responses to activations, signups for training, and general enquires.
  • Assist with meeting coordination and minute-taking for all D&I Network Groups and their respective Sub-Groups.
  • Obtain quotes and book items for activations related to D&I as instructed by the D&I Team, Employee Network Groups, and Executive Sponsors.
  • General administrative support associated with compiling submissions, such as AWEI, WGEA, and EOC Citation.
  • Assist with data analysis necessary for reporting.
  • Complete and submit expense reports, process invoices, and track purchasing requests associated with D&I budgets.
  • Assist with other accounting matters as required, ensuring compliance and achieving appropriate standards in regulatory, internal, and external audits.

About You

  • Demonstrated passion for workplace diversity, inclusion, and equity.
  • Entry-level HR experience and/or HR-related education is an advantage.
  • Experience in participating in, and contributing to, a range of administrative functions.
  • Experience working with teams across multiple businesses and locations.
  • Experience working in service industries and fast-paced dynamic workplaces.
  • Comprehensive skills/knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
