
Civil Contract Project Coordinator

Civil projects require meticulous administration and management to ensure successful project outcomes. As a Contracts Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing contract execution, managing contractual obligations, and mitigating risks. Your attention to detail and excellent organisational skills will be essential in fostering positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the contracting process with new clients in collaboration with the Commercial Team.
- Develop and maintain a process for creating projects, including setting up SharePoint files and ensuring contracts are signed and stored correctly.
- Monitor project processes to identify shortfalls and develop robust procedures for improvement.
- Identify and monitor project risks, reporting emerging issues to the Commercial Team.
- Oversee project processes daily to ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in scope, adhering to quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Tender Coordinator on bids and tenders, developing scope of works for each contract.
- Work closely with the Finance team to maintain payment schedules, variations, and claims for projects on a monthly basis.
- Perform quality assurance on a daily basis to ensure project standards are met.
- Manage both external and internal stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Support the project management team to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide meeting minutes on a weekly basis.
- Maintain and develop stakeholder relationships through effective communication and problem-solving to ensure project deliverables are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field. Proven experience in contract administration or project management within the civil engineering or construction industry is also essential.
