We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team on a major project in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience on a large-scale civil infrastructure project with an ASAP start.

This role will involve supporting the administration of contracts, variations and claims. You will be responsible for preparing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and managing subcontractor agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration: Assist in the administration of contracts, variations and claims.
  • Procurement Support: Prepare purchase orders and liaise with suppliers.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor agreements and ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Cost Tracking and Forecasting: Help with cost tracking, forecasting and budget management.
  • Commercial and Contractual Support: Provide support on commercial and contractual matters.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Some experience in contracts administration and procurement, preferably in civil infrastructure projects.
  • Project Knowledge: Exposure to tunnelling projects is beneficial but not essential.
  • Contract Management: Understanding of contract management and procurement processes.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
