Scope is streetscapes, traffic sign installation, traffic facility construction including roundabouts and intersection upgrades, storm waterworks, and soft and hard landscaping works.

The Role

The Civil Project Coordinator will manage and control multiple projects fulfilling the contractual obligations as applicable to assigned project(s), through all phases of the project lifecycle. This role involves a mix of in the office and onsite work.
- Developing project documentation including schedules, scopes of work, and quotes; and ensuring these adhere to safety and industry standards
- Prepare project reporting documentation on a daily, weekly, monthly and adhoc basis, and present project performance metrics and outcomes as required
- Participation in proactive safety measures and HSEQ improvement plan initiatives.
- Implementation and leadership of Safety, Quality and Environmental standards
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders e.g. TfNSW and their various agencies; local councils, bus operators, and emergency services
- Manage financial performance and budgeting
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met
- Understand client specifications and drawings, and ensure specifications are met.
- Highlight design issues that may cause a delay in the project.

You
- Background in Civil Construction with Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
- Previous experience in the project coordination of civil construction projects (essential)
- Experience in project coordination of traffic signs, line marking and intersections (highly desired)
- Exceptional planning and organisation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to complete projects with little direction or handholding
- Ability to switch gears and frequently reprioritize, as well as be a very flexible person
- Must be proactive and must consistently demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
- Required to interact effectively and efficiently with all levels of employees
