Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Control Risks. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong research skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research on open sources and deep web venues to identify potential threats against our clients. They will then produce high-quality written analysis based on this research, highlighting the credibility and impact of these threats.

This role involves:

  • Conducting manual and automated searches to gather intelligence on potential threats;
  • Producing bespoke written analysis to contextualise and assess these threats;
  • Researching new sources of information and developing capabilities to collect and analyse data in support of the team's mission;
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the review and delivery of written analysis;
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues to direct intelligence collection and enhance the quality of final deliverables;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Practical knowledge of open-source intelligence collection and threat analysis;
  • Strong research skills, including the ability to conduct thorough and accurate searches;
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports;
  • Experience in managing time efficiently to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field;
  • Open-source intelligence qualifications;
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (Chinese) Language;
