Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our Security Operations Team based in Lidcombe. As part of your role, you will ensure that cyber security incidents, as well as any exposures and vulnerabilities, are being appropriately detected and resolved across all our clients environments.
You will conduct triage and analysis on alerts, using security technologies to investigate and respond to help keep our customers secure. Other duties will include proactively scanning environments, as well as mentoring and guiding other team members.
You will also profile and trend events in the environment to determine if an incident needs to be created after scanning/sweeping. While the Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst will spend time working from documented playbooks, security analytics will be a large portion of your work.
Required Skills and Qualifications- AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance is essential.
- Demonstrated experience working in a security operations centre (SOC) environment with sound technical understanding of security incidents and alerts and well versed in security technologies and tools.
- Minimum 2 years experience in incident analysis, security analytics, malware research, or similar experience.
