Senior Contracts Administrator

Key to this role is overseeing commercial projects valued at $500m+

We seek a senior contracts administrator with exceptional leadership skills to oversee experienced contract administration teams and mentor junior staff and engineers.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the contract administration team in executing commercial projects of high value
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective contract management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and achieve business objectives
  • Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules, and assist with progress claims and external variations
  • Review, negotiate, and finalize subcontracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices
  • Manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
  • Administer RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants, promoting effective communication and conflict resolution
  • Establish and maintain a project HSE system, adhering to regulatory requirements and company safety protocols
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in construction management or equivalent
  • Proven experience working for a Tier one or two head contractor is essential
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior CA role in commercial construction for a recognized tier 1/2 builder
  • Exposure to high-rise hospital, pharmaceutical, or complex commercial projects valued $250m+
  • Knowledge of South Australian construction market and subcontractors
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
