Are you looking for a challenging role that combines laboratory expertise with IT knowledge?

As a Laboratory & LIMS Analyst, you will be working in the Analytical Services Branch, conducting chemical and biological measurements for various sectors including food, health, and environment.

The team is responsible for providing analytical solutions and technical expertise to private sector companies and government agencies.

You will have the opportunity to work on a high-profile project to implement a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for the branch.

This project aims to provide a unified foundation for NMI's chemical and biological laboratories, reduce risks related to maintenance and security of ICT systems, improve process efficiency, and enhance client satisfaction.

As a key member of the team, you will be reporting to the Senior LIMS Developer and will be responsible for implementing and configuring the LIMS system, ensuring its integration with other laboratory systems, and developing scripts and routines as needed.

Key qualifications include experience with trace level chemical analysis of environmental or food samples, knowledge of scientific laboratory processes and quality assurance principles, and demonstrated ability to work co-operatively and effectively in a team environment.

Additionally, you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience writing technical documentation.
