Strategic Negotiations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Deal Negotiator to join our Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team. As a key member of our global deal team, you will engage with commercial and public sector customers on strategic opportunities, increasing the growth of Amazon Web Services (AWS) through the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work with AWS customers across various industries, including Financial Services, Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, Energy, Healthcare Life Sciences, Automotive, and Manufacturing. You will develop and execute deal negotiation strategies, negotiate Private Pricing Agreements (PPAs), and analyze and develop deal terms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop overall deal negotiation strategies and negotiate PPAs.
- Execute deal and competitive structures, maximizing the value of opportunities consistent with AWS objectives and requirements.
- Advise and provide thought leadership on the execution of competitive commercial, channel, and partner deal opportunities.
- Provide expertise on deal structuring and advise key stakeholders on the impact of deal terms, offering creative solutions to the customer, the AWS sales field, and leadership.
- Engage directly with the customer on commercial and contractual terms.
- Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to brief senior management and coordinate the closure of commercial transactions.
Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector.
