Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Image Processing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of image processing, computer vision, and sensor fusion designing algorithms that enable automatic target recognition (ATR), including detection, classification, and tracking.

Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled engineer to design, develop, and validate high-level image processing algorithms for Electro Optical systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing capabilities such as object detection and classification, single and multi-object tracking
  • Modeling, simulating, and testing algorithms using MATLAB and Python
  • Optimizing low-level image enhancement techniques, including histogram equalization, deconvolution, denoising, contrast enhancement, sharpening, and spatial filtering
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, Signal Processing, Physics, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in image/signal processing, ideally in defence, aerospace, or research
  • A strong foundation in signal and image processing
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and Python
  • Experience with EO/IR image detection and classification, object tracking and motion prediction, image registration, filtering, and enhancement, familiarity with EO/IR sensors, gimbals, or UAV payloads
  • Experience deploying algorithms on embedded or GPU platforms
