About the Role

Fulton Hogan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to health and safety teams across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure health and safety policies and procedures are aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations.
  • Provide training and support to employees on health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics and trends.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in a health and safety leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
