Fulton Hogan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive national health and safety strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to health and safety teams across the organization to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and mitigate risks associated with health and safety.
- Develop and maintain effective health and safety policies and procedures that are consistent across the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Provide training and support to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience in a health and safety leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including WHS and OHS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, employees, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to health and safety challenges.
