About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Host & Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Hyatt Regency Brisbane. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, managing reservations, and assisting with marketing initiatives to drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Host guests at Hibiscus Bar & Terrace, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience
  • Manage reservations, inquiries, and service excellence for events and guests
  • Participate in marketing meetings to develop creative activations, promotions, and digital signage
  • Assist with securing, converting, and managing F&B bookings under 20 guests
  • Handle guest and internal customer inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Manage the booking process for FIT special event F&B dates
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Management team to plan and coordinate promotions
  • Ensure all social events are set up and relevant colleagues are briefed prior to guest arrival
  • Provide HACCP administration support to Food and Beverage leadership
  • Support Sales & Events Executives in creating and organizing F&B collateral
Requirements
  • Previous experience providing excellent service in a hospitality or related industry
  • Ability to work outside of traditional business hours in line with hotel operations
  • High level of grooming and personal presentation
  • Ability to promote teamwork and collaboration
  • Proven initiative and resourcefulness
  • High level of both written and verbal communication
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, specifically Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoon/evenings
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
