Role Summary

As a Charming Host at the Brisbane Marriott Hotel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests in all food and beverage outlets. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a global brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Host guests in all food and beverage outlets, including Motion Dining, In Room Dining, and the Executive Lounge.
  • Provide extensive knowledge on menus offered and promotions.
  • Use upselling skills to promote menu items.
  • Anticipate guest needs and handle inquiries in a helpful and attentive manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-focused position.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to create personal connections with guests.
  • Passion for food and beverage and providing exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to think quickly on your feet and solve problems promptly.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, great multitasker, and organized with great attention to detail.
  • Flexibility with working shift work and weekends.
