About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Host & Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Hyatt Regency Brisbane. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and providing a warm and welcoming experience in our Hibiscus Bar & Terrace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Host guests in Hibiscus Bar & Terrace, ensuring a high level of service excellence and attention to detail.
  • Manage reservations, enquiries, and bookings for F&B events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social events.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to drive revenue and increase brand awareness.
  • Provide administrative support to the Food and Beverage Management team, including HACCP administration and table check management.
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales & Events Executives to create and organize F&B collateral, including menus, signage, and food labels.
  • Ensure opening and closing checklists are followed for set up and pack down of the Terrace.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work outside of traditional business hours in line with hotel operations.
  • High level of grooming and personal presentation.
  • Ability to promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Proven initiative and resourcefulness.
  • High level of both written and verbal communication.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
