Project IPT Lead Job Description

The Project IPT Lead is responsible for leading the technical planning and implementation of major system upgrades, including development of technical specifications, interface requirements, and integration strategies.

Key responsibilities include directing the development and implementation of security accreditation artifacts, ensuring compliance with defence certification requirements, guiding complex system integration activities, and overseeing verification testing, site surveys, and transition planning across multiple RAAF locations.

As a Project IPT Lead, you will spearhead the technical delivery of sophisticated system upgrades while providing oversight of both technical personnel and integrated logistic support activities. Working with industry-leading COTS solutions and managing key relationships with global technology partners, you will ensure successful implementation across multiple RAAF sites while maintaining rigorous defence standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in technical leadership roles managing complex system integration projects
  • Proven ability to analyze and solve difficult problems involving multiple variables across various functions and specialties
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in external customer and vendor relationships
