Job Overview:
The role of Systems Engineer is a crucial part of our team, responsible for the development and integration of advanced military air traffic control systems. This involves working on complex projects that require strategic modernisation initiatives to ensure the continued effectiveness of Australia's military air traffic control capabilities.
- Support technical integration of system upgrades with existing ADATS infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation across multiple RAAF sites nationwide.
- Analyse and document system interface requirements between COTS components and legacy systems.
- Execute verification and validation activities, including factory and site acceptance testing.
- Identify technical risks and implement approved mitigation strategies for system integration challenges.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders in executing system implementation and transition plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- University Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant engineering experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of systems engineering principles and practices.
- Proven technical problem-solving skills with ability to work under general supervision.
- Experience in requirements analysis and system integration activities.
