Technical Writer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation that supports the successful implementation and ongoing operation of complex systems upgrades.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ILS principles and documentation requirements, as well as experience working within structured documentation frameworks and configuration management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and maintenance of technical publications and ILS documentation supporting system upgrades
  • Create and update training materials, operational procedures, and maintenance workflows for system operators and maintainers
  • Collaborate with technical teams to document system modifications, integration approaches, and operational procedures
  • Support security certification and accreditation processes through precise documentation
  • Maintain configuration management documentation and coordinate with stakeholders to validate technical content
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Technical Writing
  • Demonstrated experience in technical documentation for complex systems integration projects
  • Strong understanding of ILS principles and documentation requirements
  • Experience working within structured documentation frameworks and configuration management systems
