We are seeking a visionary Project Manager to spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge system upgrades for our Australian Defence Air Traffic System (ADATS) Capability Assurance Program (CAP) Tranche 2.

This high-profile program will see the introduction of next-generation system upgrades across multiple RAAF sites, ensuring seamless air traffic control capabilities for both military and civilian operations.

Job Description
  • As Project Manager, you will oversee the technical planning and implementation of major system upgrades, including development of technical specifications, interface requirements, and integration strategies.
  • You will direct the development and implementation of security accreditation artifacts, ensuring compliance with defence certification requirements.
  • You will guide complex system integration activities, including hardware modifications and interface management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical delivery of sophisticated system upgrades while providing oversight of both technical personnel and integrated logistic support activities.
  • Direct the development and implementation of security accreditation artifacts, ensuring compliance with defence certification requirements.
  • Guide complex system integration activities, including hardware modifications and interface management.
  • Oversee verification testing, site surveys, and transition planning across multiple RAAF locations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical leadership roles managing complex system integration projects.
  • Proven ability to analyse and solve difficult problems involving multiple variables across various functions and specialties.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in external customer and vendor relationships.
