This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to join our People & Culture team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process and assisting Senior Leaders and hiring managers with end-to-end recruitment requirements.
You will coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria, source applicants through online channels and other professional networks, create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position, and compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references.
Maintaining records of all recruitment materials, including interview notes and related paperwork, is crucial to share with key stakeholders. You will also review existing recruitment and selection processes to ensure ease of engagement and efficiency.
About the Role- Manage the recruitment process from start to finish
- Assist Senior Leaders and hiring managers with recruitment requirements
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
- Source applicants through online channels and other professional networks
- Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
- Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references
- Maintain records of all recruitment materials, including interview notes and related paperwork
- Review existing recruitment and selection processes to ensure ease of engagement and efficiency
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar recruitment position
- Strong background in retail recruitment
- Experience in full-cycle volume recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
- Experience using applicant tracking systems to proactively source candidates
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law
- Strong attention to detail
This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute towards the growth of a fast-paced, dynamic organization. The role is based in Melbourne with 5 days in the office, good public transport access, nearby cafes, and dogs in the office.
