We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team in NSW, Australia. About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new customers, collaborating with the State Transport Manager to align sales efforts with operational capabilities and objectives, and working closely with the Senior Transport BDM to ensure strategic alignment, performance monitoring, and support during the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to optimise transport capacity and drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts and minimal disruption to existing operations
  • Analyse data and performance metrics to refine sales strategies and improve operational efficiency
  • Present and negotiate tailored transport solutions to customers, leveraging your excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Manage transactional sales processes and CRM systems to maximise sales performance and customer satisfaction

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of sales and business development experience in the transport sector
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and managing transactional sales processes
  • A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (desirable)
