Your Role

As a Support Worker, you will empower individuals experiencing homelessness on their path to stable housing. You will assist with client intake, assessments, and daily operations, ensuring each client receives tailored care and support to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to workplace health and safety practices.
  • Implement effective risk management procedures to meet legal and governance requirements.
  • Support clients in line with their case plans, providing trauma-informed care and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in the daily management of accommodation services, upholding the quality of service delivery.
Requirements
  • A certificate-level qualification in a related field or current tertiary study is required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
  • Sound judgment in crisis and emergency situations is necessary.
  • A current first aid certificate is also required.
