As a Youth Worker, you will be at the forefront of change, providing crucial interventions and supports to young individuals aged 16-25 through their toughest times. From offering case management to guiding education, essential life skills, and employment paths, you will be their beacon of hope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a mentor and role model, fostering a positive environment where young minds thrive.
  • Empower clients with essential life skills, from budgeting to meal preparation, ensuring they are equipped for independent living.
  • Work alongside our dedicated Case Managers, offering outreach support to those in need of a helping hand.

Requirements for Success:

- Relevant qualifications in Social/Community Welfare/Youth Work/Social Science or relevant experience
- Understanding of youth at risk of homelessness
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and provide support.
- Professional approach to the role including maintaining professional boundaries.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake basic functional day-to-day support of clients.
- Current First Aid Certificate
- A current NSW drivers' licence

Before Starting Work:

Before commencing work with us, you will need to undergo a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and obtain clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
