About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at The George Bar & Dining/Lake George Hotel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our front of house operations and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, and direct staff to provide a high-quality customer experience and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Revenue Growth: Work with management to drive revenue, manage costs, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure compliance with operational requirements.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Qualifications: Current NSW RSA and RCG (if applicable).
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
