About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Hand to join our team at Carlotta, a new Mediterranean restaurant in Canberra. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Main Role Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Assist the chefs in preparing and cooking food
  • Operate an industrial dishwasher to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand
  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Understanding of OHS, food hygiene and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
