Key Responsibilities

Oversee the development and implementation of portfolio strategies for industry safety, operations and maintenance.

Manage and coordinate projects, teams, and resources to achieve goals and objectives.

Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in planning, policy, energy, law, or sustainability.
  • 5–7 years in policy/regulatory development, preferably in renewable energy or similar sectors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to simplify technical information for diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of government policy processes and regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of planning/environmental issues in renewable energy, and Australian energy/climate policy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, government policy advising, and statutory planning (desirable).
  • Public speaking and facilitation experience (roundtables, panels, workshops).
  • Media experience (desired).
