**Job Title:** Utilities Management Officer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Utilities Management Officer. This exciting opportunity is open to those with a passion for energy sector management and a desire to make a positive impact in their local community.

Description:

The role of the Utilities Management Officer involves providing technical expertise in energy sector management, including knowledge of functional utilities best practice, principles and methods. You will work closely with the Climate Emergency Coordinator to develop and implement strategies for improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field, such as engineering or environmental science. You will also need to have demonstrated work experience and specialized technical expertise in energy sector management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in energy sector management, including knowledge of functional utilities best practice, principles and methods.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
  • Work closely with the Climate Emergency Coordinator to achieve organizational goals.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making and improve energy management practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field, such as engineering or environmental science.
  • Demonstrated work experience and specialized technical expertise in energy sector management.
  • Expert level computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
