  • Salary range: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum + super (commensurate with experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our team as a Secondary Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies and practices.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. They will also be committed to engaging with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
  2. Design and deliver effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  3. Engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students.
  4. Support students' spiritual and moral development.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
