We are seeking a driven and compassionate individual to join our team as an Employment Consultant. This rewarding role involves assisting individuals with employment barriers to achieve their goals and secure sustainable employment.

About the Role

As an Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with participants, assessing their needs, and creating personalized job plans to support their employability. You will also source employment opportunities through networking and sales strategies, and build relationships with potential employers and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing rapport with participants to understand their needs and interests
  • Assisting participants with resume writing, job applications, and interview preparation
  • Identifying and assessing barriers to employment and creating solutions to support participants at work and beyond
  • Creating job plans with participants to support clear pathways into sustainable employment
  • Increasing participants' employability through training and other support services
  • Sourcing employment opportunities through networking and sales strategies
Requirements
  • A full Australian working visa or citizenship
  • A full Australian driver's license (desired)
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure
