Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Employment Specialist to join our team at WISE Employment.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with disabilities, illnesses, or employment barriers to find and maintain sustainable employment. You will work closely with our participants to understand their needs, interests, skills, and experience, and provide support in resume development, job applications, and interview preparation.

As an Employment Specialist, you will also be responsible for identifying and assessing barriers to employment, creating job plans, and providing training and other support services to increase employability. Building and maintaining relationships with potential employers and community organizations is also a critical aspect of this role.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong sense of compassion. If you have a background in customer service, sales, retail, call centers, hospitality, consulting, business development, or administration, and are passionate about making a difference, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Full Australian working rights
