Job Description:

The Reservations Duty Manager is a key role in our hospitality team, responsible for managing the performance of the Reservations team. This includes working closely with the Revenue Manager to optimize telephone call and email responses, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimum wait times for guests.

This role also involves training new employees and upskilling existing team members, as well as assisting with guest complaints and enquiries. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for maximising revenue through effective yield management, rate and inventory control, and channel manager upkeep.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline
  • Previous management experience in reservations and/or group reservations
  • Experience with property management systems, particularly Opera Cloud
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
