Food & Beverage Duty Manager

Do you have a passion for the hospitality industry and experience leading a team? We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Duty Manager to join the leadership team at The Ville Resort Casino / Ardo Hotel.

THE ROLE

As a Food and Beverage Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage operations. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail for ensuring high-quality service, and passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences will be essential for success in this role.

ABOUT YOU

• Tertiary/vocational qualifications in Hospitality, Retail, Business, or related field is highly advantageous;
• Previous experience in a management/supervisory role within the hospitality industry, including varying restaurant or bistro service periods, and strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional service;
• Strong knowledge of barista made coffee, cocktails, beer, and wines is highly advantageous;
• Experience with Stock Management;
• You hold current certifications including Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment, Responsible Management of Licensed Venue Certificate and Liquor Approved Manager Licence or willingness to obtain;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with premium guests, along with previous experience responding to and resolving disputes relating to the Responsible Service of Alcohol;
• Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices;
• Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation;
• Proven problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure;
• Proficiency in computer systems and software applications related to food and beverage operations;
• Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills; and
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
