Job Overview

IT Support Specialist Role

The IT Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of technology systems. This position involves responding to requests regarding hardware, software, and network issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing incidents to identify service restoration actions
  • Performing incident investigation diagnosis and resolution
  • Monitoring the status and progress towards resolution of assigned incidents

This position requires a medium level of supervision and direction.

A successful candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • MCP qualification preferred
  • ITILv3 Foundation Certification preferred

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Experience using Microsoft InTune or other MDM platforms
